The extracurricular actions related to the project:
Potential for the use of energy-efficient lighting control systems in commercial buildings in southern Santa Catarina.
Beginning: March 2022.
Description: This extension project proposes to perform diagnostics in commercial buildings in southern Santa Catarina to assess the current lighting conditions of these environments. From this in situ analysis, information will be obtained about the lighting energy efficiency conditions of the establishments. This diagnosis will also allow us to verify the possibility of using automatic systems to efficiently control and monitor the illumination. This project’s actions may impact the reduction of costs with electrical energy, which is of great importance, especially for small business people, besides allowing the increase of sustainability in commercial buildings.
